The word ‘Darling’ has been moving around Kannada cinema industry for quite a long time. Firstly it was ‘Brindavana’ that is remake of ‘Darling’ Telugu film, next is ‘Madarangi’ song Darling Darling… and now the title of the movie is called ‘Darling’ in Kannada. It is not remake of any subject but original story from ‘Alemari’ Santhu.

On Monday morning the ‘Darling’ muhurut was held at Kanteerava Studio in the presence ‘Rayanna’-Naganna directing the first shot, Sa Ra Govindu sounding clap board, Dr Jayama switching on the camera.

For me ‘Santhu and Anoop’ are one and the same stated Sa Ra Govindu, Dr Jayamala appreciated the effort of all technicians investing capital for the film. It is the earning they make from Kannada films and putting to the Kannada film is a good trend among youths she pointed.

Dr Jayanthi looking at Sa Ra Govindu said he is the biggest hero among all. Yogish is a good actor and I like his ‘Sarasu….song and ‘Alemari’ is one of the good films of Yogish. Actors get chances very rarely to perform like that opined Dr Jayanthi.

Director Santhu stated the developments in ‘Darling’ happen in Bangalore. We have kept the youths in mind. It is they who give whistle and clap the elders in the family also come to theatre feels Santhu. The role in ‘Daling’ is dead opposite to ‘Alemaari’ for Yogish. The narration is straight. There is twist in the tale. After half an hour there is different platform for the film feels Santhu.

Yogi is happy for team joining and making this film. I have no big expectation. I was fans of actress Muktha from one her films stated Yogish.

Muktha making debut is bit nervous although she has good experience in acting. She promised to learn Kannada language.

Dialogue writer Manju Mandavya expressed the film has the base of a real life incident. Whether the hero is darling to his lover or to his family members is specialty of this film he says.

Mass Madha is doing a small role besides handling the stunts. He comes from village to city.

Producer Siddaraju disclosed that a director for the second time directing my son Yogish is Santhu in a quick span of time.

Yogish mother Smt Ambuja explained in our family I am serial artists and Yogish is experienced actor. If he does not do well in this film I will bang him said the mother out of affection.
